Southerland Mills

The Southerland Mills project is a 388-lot residential community spread over 165 acres in Wilsons Mills, NC, with engineering and design services provided in-house by Shenandoah Homes. Our team managed all aspects of planning and permitting, including site layout, grading, stormwater design, and utility coordination—most notably the design of a 1.5-mile sanitary sewer force main. Construction is currently in progress, with project completion targeted for 2026.
